Katie Reilly's Irish Soda Bread & Scone Mix

Katie Reilly's Irish Soda Bread Multiple loaves

Ingredients:  Unbleached flour (wheat), sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt.  0% Trans Fatty Acids

Kosher Certified:  Orthodox Union

Commercial Baking Instructions:  

Salted Butter, Fresh Eggs, Buttermilk, Raisins (for a variety of flavors, substitute cranberries or chocolate chips for raisins or add cinnamon to the original recipe)

Preheat oven to 340 degrees

  1. Soften Butter in mixer

  2. Add buttermilk and eggs into mixer for one minute on first speed.

  3. Add flour mixture slowly and mix for 3 minutes on low.

  4. Incorporate raisins into mixture

  5. Scale at 19 ounces

  6. Shape into round loaf.  approximately 1 to 1-1/2 inches high.  Cross cut (+) on top

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and fully baked.

Completely cool before packaging into our Katie Reilly's bag.
